“Love Is More Than a Feeling: Real Love Is Presence”

Can we talk about love for a minute? We say “I love you” all the time—but do we really think about what that means? When we say we love someone, it should actually mean something. Love is more than words. It’s showing up, caring deeply, and being present in ways that go far beyond a casual “I like you.”

Love is about connection. It’s taking the time to truly know one another. Listening without rushing. Making room for someone else’s thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Real love requires investment: time, energy, attention. Not only when it’s easy, but consistently. It looks like support instead of control, understanding instead of judgment, and patience instead of pressure. Love wants to see the other person become their best self.

And most of all, true love is a two-way street: both people giving, growing, and building something stronger together than they ever could alone.

Honestly, love gets stronger when we focus less on what we’re getting, because the strongest bonds are built by what we’re willing to give.

Here’s to choosing a love that grows deep!
